M8 i think u have ur EP's mixed up. What u discribed seems to me like ist an EP 71 as this is the only GT Starlet that is 1.3L and is OHC. Seen as how the higher the no. the better the model Thus EP 71 is 87 model, EP 82 is 90+, EP 92 is 96+. It has a bonnet scoop on the side not centered (right????)...
Sorry to be sound like a KNOW-IT-ALL(even though starlets are my life), Just trying to guide u in the right direction. Hope iv helped and good luck with ur sale.(my friend has a corolla II and they are pretty much the same car except its a 1.5L instead of a 1.3L- just wonderin how they go???)

there are actually a couple of engine codes like that...i'll find out tomorrow, and let you know. also....did you know that toyota made a 13B-T? no, it's not a rotor...from memory it's an old turbo diesel engine, that only came out in some old truck in japan...
sorry to hijack the thread...but hey...free bumps are always good!!
good luck with sale, dude...if only i had the time...

Eeeeeeep, INCORRECT....... you are not a "KNOW-IT-ALL" after all!
The last version of the starlet was the EP91.
Though I also beleive there was a EP95 or something like that......... still the same shape outside..... but it was a 4WD!
