Can anyone help, I'm chasing the timing and idle speed adjustment procedure, and specs for an 85 MX73 cressida with a 5ME engine.

Also wheel alignment specs would be greatly appreciated.

Does anyone know where I can obtain a manual. I have a early genuine Toyota MX62 manual but it is not too helpful.

from memory:

timing is 16deg (vac disconnected) @ 800rpm on 98RON fuel. make that more like 12deg on 94RON and about 8-10deg on 91RON. depends what condition your engine is in as to whether it can handle the advance.

idle is probably about 600-700rpm

manual? haynes or gregories? tried toyota ($$)
