I believe they use the same plugs as the 1JZ, so BKR6E should be fine.

alrighty - so any ideas on what a 2jz might take?
repco dont stock "sparks for imports", although I have a feeling they wouldn't know if they had a compatible one in there.

we're at baulkham hills at the moment - so anywhere nearby (like parra) that stocks them would be good.

I've pulled off the coil packs already, so I'm not really keen on putting it all back together for another day

Toyota ND's - if you can get trade, $11 each, They're also used in the the V6 Camry.

This a GTE or GE?

If it's a GTE, regap them to .8mm otherwise you *might* blow out the spark at 14psi and above.

everyone put this in there favourites to find NGK plugs for their desired engine

choose passenger vehicles

obviously choose toyota , then supra

however it doesnt have any of the JZ series
only the M series supras
so what other cars come with the 2JZ ?

ill try and see if we got it listed at work tomrorow if i rememeber

also i just found out it has a cross-reference from other products to NGK but not the other way round

ended up getting the BKR6EP-11 , which is the stock platinum plug
bit pricey, but repco stock was a little limited.

gapped to 1.1, so hopefully wont be misfiring

edit: this info was gratefully taken from www.mkiv.com Smile

Is the engine modified in any way ? The platinums are fine for a totally stock engine, but tend to break down rather easily with even minor mods. Just changing the exhaust on my 1JZ chewed out a set of platinums quickly.
Best bet are still the steel/copper plugs, but you already have the platinums now Sad
