black boxes in performance cars... Mon, 22 September 2003 09:57 Go to next message
Over the last five years, the R.T.A has been covertly funding a project with Australian and Japanese car makers whereby the car makers have been installing "black boxes" in all high performance cars such as WRX's, 200Sx's, GTR's, Evo's and HSV's they have manufactured.

This was to determine, in fatal accidents, the circumstances in the last 15 seconds before the crash. They were surprised to find the last words of the drivers in 61.2% of the fatal crashes nationally were - "OH F*CK!"

Only the fatal crashes in the Sydney suburbs of Lakemba, Punchbowl, Wiley Park, Bankstown and Brighton were different, where over 89.3% of the final words were - "Watch this bro"

Clap Clap Clap Draven... that's some nice joke modification... Seen it before on many different sites... This one's from the U.S.
Quote:

The National Transportation Safety Board recently divulged that they had covertly founded a project with the U.S. auto maker for the past five years. The auto makers were installing black boxes in four-wheel drive pick-up trucks in an effort to determine, in fatal accidents, the circumstances in the last 15 seconds before the crash.

They were surprised to find that in 49 of the 50 states, the last words of drivers in 74.7% of fatal crashes were, "Oh, sh*t!"

Only the state of Texas was different, where 92.3% of final words were, "Hey, y'all, hold my beer and watch this!"
