Hey, most of u kno the wacked looking 18r-c in my engine bay of the "Vermin Celica" in the making
Yeh well i came across a sweet as 18r-geu...strangly with carbies..somewhere along the line the efi was replaced...
but anyways, what u rekon, seeing that i get my l's next year will it be a bit of fun to drive an 18r-geu ra40?
And other than that...
Im looking for small things along the way that i can do to boost its performance..
i mean...when i get the cash...and proly in a few years ill put in a 1g..but for now..ya kno i dont need it.
Well...n e comments?

18r-g has enough poke to be fun - much better than the 18r-c anyhow
not being efi, it'll make the conversion easier (tho why anyone would ruin a perfectly good 18r-geu by sticking carbies on it I'll never know)
just remember if you do the efi setup now, you wont have to worry about it come 1g time. All comes down to money of course:)

Fun?!?! Im running an 18rg in a 40 coupe and with a bit of work they go like crazy, similiar to 3.3l holden motor. The 1g will crank up the hp but lack of fuding is holding me back.
Have fun bro

Well sooory boys ofcourse its not going to blow away most cars it has got enough to roll off any beven in an 80's model dunnydore. some people have to work on upgrading their cars as mods dont happen by themselves as you have by no doubt worked out

I don't get what you mean...most people are on here because they are in a constant process of upgrading their cars...

my fantasy would be to put the v8 and of course the SMG from an M5 into an ra23, but it would prolly never fit and cost a bloody fortune
