i didn't really care, $65 for a whole new diff, with 2 tyres and rims attached and i got some more free shit in the toolbox when i left too

RT104 diff = T series, probably a T292.

I think you will find a hilux diff would bolt almost strait in! from memory the RT104 also has 1000mm from center of the springs, then all you would need is the tail shaft shortend and the pinion flange on the diff re-drilled so you can keep the stock yoke to save $$
