Hehehe....all I can suggest is follow the wire coming from terminal B45 out thru the loom to where ever it ends up.

You cant find it anywhere on the intake pipe
What about on the airbox, or has that been scrapped for a pod?

it's been scrapped for a pod.
there are two plugs on the intake pipes near the turbo's that we think could be it but we're not sure and the connections seem fine there.

My intake sensor has been 'tapped' into the intake pipe as there was no provision for it, which i assume means it went somewhere int he airbox, which i didnt recieve.

It's on the intake manifold.
Trying to be as descriptive as possible here without confusing things, it's behind the throttle cable bracket, has a green end with a copper washer on it.
Stuff it, here is a picture.

nope
at least, I dont think so.
all that should do is retard the timing slightly - I think
plus today the problem occurred without the error light coming on.
but I'm gonna fix that, check the idle controller ... then I'm out of ideas
