4AGE throttle body questions

I have some to the conclusion that the shaft bearings on my butterfly are screwed. when half way open, the butterfly shaft is able to move all over the place.
I suspect that it would be easier and probably cheeper to just replace the whole throttle body rather than mucking around & trying to replace the bearings. my engine is the 100kw small port engine. Is the throttle body off the older 4age's compatible? or any other engine for that matter? does anyone have an idea of what a decent second hand one or new one would be worth?
thanks in advance

mine moves quite a bit too, about 3mm or something.
i thought that this was normal and havn't thought of it since.
everything seems to be running fine though.
let me know how you get on as i am interested to see if this is normal or not. we might both be looking for a new TB, hehe.
Richard
try pick n payless, they had a few AE82 twin cams out there before but i don't think they would last long.
i may be wrong but i think the only sifference with them is the earlier ones had a different kind of idle up for cold start, thasts just from memory though....

mine also moves roughly 3mm. does yours idle at a minimum of 1500rpm? through the research that i have done i am lead to beleive that if there is play in the butterfly shaft the bearings are stuffed.
