for the ultimate in NA 4AG, do a search for 'formula atlantic' mind you, they have a power band of about 6-10,000rpm
go talk to a cam shop, go talk to some engine builders, and do some internet searches. the 4AG is one engine with a huge amount of information readily available.
WAT performance are you after, how fast can you afford to go??

driveable but fun performace...
wat i mean by that is my car is already a cunt to drive in the wet... just wants to wheelspin...
but yea i think the shaved head and cams and maybe a port polish would be around the right mark otherwise u come into bigger problems with driveline strength
dunno.. just curious..
oh and those formula extreme wouldn pass emissions or be good as a daily driver

so you want it to wheelspin more in the wet??
maybe addressing suspension and tyres will give you more performance, by virtue of actually having more traction.
will you have problems with the timing belt length, now the cam sprockets will be closer to the crank sprocket? how much is the head shaved?
afaik, the 4AG ports are already quite good... hmmmm
soudns like you need to pick an rpm range, and then build the motor for that.
driveline strength is more related to abuse than to power. a K50 can take a 4AG if it is driven nicely (and i don't mean not hard).
same with the T50, if you do burnouts and flatchanges, it's going to die..
"formula atlantic" i thought, since you are looking at changing to oversize valves, that you were aiming for something like that. if you go too big in cams, you will not pas emissions either, and same for daily driver, but it all comes down to personal preference.
pick your rpm range, pick your drivability, build the motor to that. have fun easy!

just beware some cams will make yr car idle eratically
due to little vacuum at idle
which in turn can put yr mixtures out
i do know some people go overboard with cams
then they winge about the bad idle

no not really wheelspin in wet no...
i have already addressed that prob.. went from stock rims and suspension to 205/40 r16 tyres and lowered suspension and it didnt seem to bring about any benefit in wet road traction..
dunno bout the shaved head specs... it on a 4age atm.. im just swappin em over...
cams i likied the look of stage 3 babies...
hmmm.. we'll see
