7MGTE Fuel Consumption

Ok I did a bit of a search and come up with nothing so I thought I would post the question.
I have a 7MGTE running threw an auto in a Cressida. Now I am wondering what kind of fuel consumption ppl on here are getting wether it be in a supra etc as they all weigh around the same.
I am asking this as I have heard that the O2 Sensors need replacing after a while as they start sending incorect readings to the computer thus making it run richer than needed??
I am using around 13-14L per 100km's that is fairly easy driving around town and on the highway getting up it once or twice...
Now to me that seems a bit high?? What are others getting?

I used to get between 13-16L/100kms on sydney driving, would go out to about Allan's figure on highway/long distance.
Mine was running VERY rich though (under 10 A/F on the dyno).
I'm now down to 10L/100kms

Mine ran pig rich on the dyno too! actualy went off the scale rich >9.5:1AFR and driving around given it a boot can go thru a tank VERY quickly
Hopefully bumping the compression up should help alot on the hi-way and make it a heap more responsive even with a hi-flow ct-26... i'll find out anyway!

Allan, I think places like ultratune can actually tune the factory computer (a little).
Would help reliability etc. And get more power.

Nah thay just tinker with crap thay have no idea about... "Hey whats this screw on the air flow tingo *twist twist* hmm not much... whats this one do......"
Its just the way toyota make safe but rich thankfully toyota also make the 1UZ-FE airflow meter after talking to a few people seems to be the best next step with some 550's
we will see.....
