By a R100 with a 13B Turbo if you want straight line speed.
Orr a Second Hand Super Bike.

go the supra if straight lines your goal
Gt4's are made to be nimble and fun around the bends - not top end speed

wat kind of conversions could i do to the supra
the supra is heavyier than the celica, but by how much?
wouldnt' the awd on the celica make the car faster on take off?
can i import a mkIII supra
and wats all this MKIII MA70?

Gt4's are actually not the best car to launch - you basically have to rev it up to around 6k then sidestep the clutch to get it to bite - otherwise it will bog down for the first few crucial moments - and then get moving ..
Doing this also puts a hell of lot of strain on the drivtrain - so its not advised unless the drivetrain has been built to handle it ..
if you want pure straight line weaponry - just get the supra - as per before - gt4's arent a drag car - they are a touring car - built for bends

Out of these two i would choose the ma70 but i still don't think they are an ideal drag racing car. They just weigh so much! If you want to get a good drag racer, get a light car and put a big hp engine into it.
eg. 13bt r100 (as above)
torana with a big v8
corona with a 1jz
old celica or something with a 1g-gte
There are many options anyway. That is my opinion anyway.

old rolla or mazda 808 + 13b + huge snail
9 second quarters on an untubbed chassis
out of those 2, ma70 for sure - even if it is a bloated sports car

flashlaser, I had the same sort of questions, and as you can see I got the ma70. Definitely faster trust me. I tried them both out.
Yes you can import the MkIII supra. Well you will be able to at the beginning of next year. Go to http://www.prestigemotorsport.com.au/ and have a look. Should help you out.
