hi all i got my new sx seca and the rear end is so loose its a joke to drive.

if i go into a corner with a bit of speed (not much) the whole rear end will snap and kick like someone is slaming into the side of u, i think it could be the rear strut brace bushes, anyone got any other answers?
regards Craig.

Do you guys have big rear sway bars? Rollas have very light rear ends and a big rear swaybar will make it more pronounced.

If not, then check that your shocks aren't worn out.

my shocks and sway bars are all stock, the stock tyres that where on it where totaly worn out on the inner side (down to the wire) so it is a sway prob im thinking. i want to fix this week.

It's not IRS is it?

It shouldn't wear the tyres on the inside!! Methinks something is loose.

Yeah it is independent rear suspention, i put my 15in wheels on it sat night and they are sitting ok, the rear wheels also have side movement. (hold with both hands and pull and push) not much but enough,

soften (if possible) front body roll, strengthen rear body roll, wider tyres on the rear, shift weight to the front

i got a 28 point suspension check yesterday,
the rear end is all over the place because:
both rear shocks are leaking,
all 4 lower bushes are worn,
and the brace bushes also worn,
but the best bit is the left rear trailing arm is bent! Crying or Very Sad

also the front shock also leaking and all 4 lower bushes also gone.

they said it would be $1300 to fix so im getting the parts from the same place as i did the first time and putting them in my self. (last time they said $650 and it was done for $200)
well what can i say fu*k it.

regards Craig.

i agree with nark, i went to get a 28 point money check and wheel alignment on my car, he told me the back shocks were screwed, i told him that was funny, because i had just replaced them a month ago..

take it to a few places, but the bent control arm sound like the cause, replace that and see how you go. get someone to show you where it is bent too.

Yeah all good advice,
not sure about the shocks,
but i will replace all the bushes, i have done in my last one and it handled so much better,
and the control arm well what do i say, how on earth did he do it the car is low enough if is was a gutter it would have hit the side of the car as well? no idea.

i'll let u know what happens with it.
