in the wet last week, my unfortunately still pretty much stock sprinter, beat a 2.5 non turbo manual dodgy cluched r33 skyline. i knew the guy and i knew he wanted to drag, his is stock except for the exhuast, n e way, he revs it, i consider not going 4 it cos A) my fuel light was on B) I have a phobia of speed cameras C) my engine makes funny noises when i floor it D) i though i would get caned.
I know the intersection, so i knew the light sequence but i didnt jump the green, lights go green, i put about 3k through it wheel spins for like half a second ( 205 tyres ) and then im out of there, i couldnt believe that i was ahead, he had soo much wheel spin and i led all of the way to 70 when i slowed down , thats when he flew past, but i won what counted, i was proud. And just to prove to him that it was no fluke i beat him again next lights, he wasnt too happy been beat by a little carby car, now i wanna see what else i can beat in the wet ! this is prolly the only proper drag i have ever had, but in the dry i would be surprised if i beat an excel, or a "phat" "evo" lancer!!
i reckon even a sprinter could beat a gaywoo, in a straight line, but they keep up or beat soooo many cars through the hills!

Unfortunately traction is an issue in the wet
The moment i give it any stick i find myself stepping out...but its wonderful to control...makes for FUN

Fun, in a straight line.
I had a couple of near misses in the ol slowica pulling out of a T intersection onto an 80km/h road, but from that i leaned ALL ABOUT overstear.

I was in my mates n14 pulsar (non turbo) and we beat 'CHEEKY' which is an r32 turbo skyline. Goto love underpowered cars in the wet.
I was in passenger seat and watching this things wheels spin and just go knowere

turbo = torque, rain = no grip, this is why little engines do well in the wet, but i really hate it when more powerful cars fly past when you hit 80 after they have finally got traction lol
