Noticed on my spare CT-26 it has some cracking around the wastegate anyone had it mechined out around the wastegate and a larger "door" fitted maybe giving a little bit of an advantage flowing more?

It's very common on these turbos, I wouldn't worry about getting it welded up personally as it will just crack again.

You can knock about 2mm from the wastegate to get it to flow a bit more, after that and you'll need to machine the seat and fit a larger door/flap.
