AE86's! Registry....
|

OK. There is a registry for actual paying members of Toymods I think.
But just out if curiosity.....
Lke how many actually are still existing and owned by enthusiasts (I see so many granny's drivin em hehe).
Post up if you have one.
Descript (num plate even) and mods, suburb and state.
Buuuut if you want to keep it to remain a top-secret sleeper and or are paranoid of being stalked by another Toyota lover, you are excused and allowed to leave information out lol.

i have two, and what a pair they are.
the one i drive on the road is blue where the paint hasn't fallen off, stock apart from silly low suspension and some "free" 4AC noise mods
and the one i cannibalise is silver, with dents and other damage.

Turbo to a 4AC??? Like the engine that comes in Aust-spec sprinters????? Hmmm never heard of that done before...people tend to play with the twin-cammers and usually the gze as it is already reinforced for forced-induction
Wanna fill me in, what have you planned so far and how detailed?
Interested.....what components you need and approx prices?
Got an idea of the output you will hit with these changes?

Mine's yellow (actually 1 of 4 yellow ones that I know of in Perth), and has fairly extensive mods: turbo 4AGZE, disc rear end and LSD, uprated front brakes, aftermarket ECU, new suspension and springs, 15" wheels.
There's about 4-5 others (besides the yellow beasties) I know of in WA driven by enthusiasts...

Well it seems pretty straight forward to me,Though I am no mechanic, allot of the actual work will be done by a mate of mine In Canberra.
You can use the standard exhaust manifold (modified), a t25 turbo, a good cheep second hand intercooler, and an XF Falcon webber.Setup as what I belive is called a "blow through" turbo instalation. Obviously there are a few other bits and peices, fuel reg ,dump pipe/ exhaust, a manifold/plenum which fits ontop of the webber etc. etc.
Oh and this would hopefully produce over 70kw at the wheels

I got a white one, colour coded everything, 17' six spoke mags, tinted windows, "hachiroku" graphic across the windscreen. From Perth, I've only seen a handfull of ae86's in Perth, and the ones I do see are usually brown or gold and driven by old people I drive mine everyday so if you live round Leeming or round mt lawley you'll prolly see it.
