i don't know will they work on AUSTRALIA speed camera
but a few US news channel, like FOX news have done some private test and found that the photoblocker spray work the best in blocking out speed camera
i am just assuming that Australia and US speed camera works the same....... so....... hope that the photoblocker will work
i have sprayed 3 cars already, and you cannot tell if the plate is treated or not, especailly if you have a number plate cover on.

The problem with the sprays is that the enamel is reflective...night time is ok but you'll cop a fair bit of glare during the day and it is noticeable....if cops pick up on it your in trouble.
Thats what i've heard
g/l with the sale

ive heard you can spray hair spray on the plastic covers then briefly bake them in an oven, dunno if this works.
or the cd hanging from the rear view mirror to block radar. again, dunno if this works i have done neither.

think about how a radar/lidar works - and you'll realise a cd hanging from your rearview mirror will do nothing.

yeah didnt think so
mounting your number plate on a spring loaded flap does however, but imagine if you got caught
having a switch for your brake lights is much easier to hide and good for late night gettaways

hey, I was just considering that the other night! just hook up a switch to all the back lights - brakes, indicators, and number plate lights.

Why not use a heap of infra red LED's around your numberplate... that way it'll look 100% normal to the human eye but will give the worlds biggest lens flare if a CCD camera looks at it... try pointing your remote control at your video camera and see what i mean... and that is only 1 low powered infra red LED... imaging 20-30 of the suckers!

Listen to what you just said Toobs,
"...point your remote control at your camera..."
If you can devise a way of mounting infrared LED's so they can actively direct themselves at speed cameras, then you have a solution. Otherwise, I don't reckon it'd work.
LED's have a lens that focus' the light in a specific direction. They give off little light unless you look straight at them. The cameras are usually on the side of the road, but which side, how high and how far away?

hmm perhaps this could be of use to me...i hope i didnt get done the other day...it was a van, but i didnt see the camera flash, which supposedly you're supposed to?
Easy way to beat cameras at nite..put your hi-beamers on! Fouls out their flash!

Guys, WD40 and a hand full of fine dirt.
So, you wash YOUR car and the RTA can come and wash THEIR number plates any time they like!

If u get done by a fixed speed camera in NSW you are a dead set idiot and deserve the fine, the demerit points and a slap across the chops. Anyone who misses those 3 huge signs warning of the impending speed camera shouldn't be on the road in the first place
