I'm prolly gonna get temple of elemental evil - even if it is more of a diablo clone than a true rpg

Ooh... Diablo II.... I finished that so many times using different characters.....
And when you finish with a character, you can start again on Insane level (or something like that).... Crazy stuff...

D2 is still the best game I've ever played. Its great multiplayer too. Expansion is good as it brings the grapics up to 800x600. Wonder if they're making D3

I liked Baldur's Gate better, that took forever to get through all 5 of the CD's...passed Diablo 2 with a couple of characters too. Its cool.

Fallout never really did it for me, the whole pseudo-future thing is dodge in my opinion. I loved the kickarse way you could have different classes in the game. I had a half-elf, started the game as a thief, got half-way through and started becoming a mage. I loved being able to stealth into the shadows and blow someone to bits by stabbing them in the back...

Sadly that new bard's tale is common in name only. Nostalgia city it aint.
One character to summon a party? I don't think so. Right now I have to say *YAWN* what a pain in the arse. And one character that takes the piss out of everything? We had legend of kyrandia III didn't we? Trying to move from one cliche only creates another.
Bard's tale 2 was the best one I reckon in the series.

The expansion is pretty good too.
And the 2nd expansion coming up looks REALLY good. 40th level epic rules. Oh yea.
