15x7" Simmons B45's (4x114.3) Thu, 02 October 2003 02:15 Go to next message
Hey guys,

Got a set of 15x7" Simmons B45's, black with a polished rim.

Don't know the exact offset, but they were on a Euro-spec (non-flared) MA61 Supra and came to the edge of the front guards like a set of the 14x7" MA61 rims to on this model. Therefore the offset is probably about +10mm.

They currently have a set of 205/55 Kumho Ecsta 711's on the front and 205/55 Astar Prima's on the back, both with decent tread. Wheels fit a Sprinter but not with such large tyres.

Looking for about $800 as they are or $1000 if we polish them up. This is with the tyres.

We are in Perth.

Umm... Would you be willing to sell them without the rubber? I have a feeling they might not fit on the Corolla, but they look like they would look nice on it Smile

Fook,

Two things:

1. You already have so many sets of rims that your car doesn't fit in the garage anymore Very Happy

2. Using the online Australia Post parcel calculator http://www1.auspost.com.au/pac/aus_parcel.asp and guessing at parcel sizes a bit, the frieght from Perth to Brisbane should be $7.40 + $2.10/kg. If they weigh, say, 15kg that's $38.70/each or ~$155 for the lot. Ouch!

Stop, run away, before your bank account implodes Very Happy Shocked Very Happy

Here are some new pics, this shows the couple of dents in one of the rims.
http://forums.toymods.org.au/index.php?t=getfile&id=2103

They weigh about 17kg each with the tyres on.

Overspray my arse, there is dirt, plenty of it, and some bits off the black have flaked off, but there is no overspray.

We are negotiable on the price, so $800 isn't the be all and end all. I've placed pictures of the rims up, people can make their own minds up. Just because we're not going to sell them for $500 to you doesn't mean you can bag the rims out.

Just to reiterate, yes the rims are dirty, they have a few bits of black flaked off them as you can see in the pics and one of them has two minor dents. $800 with average tyres or nearest reasonable offer.

Hey, look im intersted, im in perth aswell so yes.
I heard somewhere that you can get the dents in the rims fixed?
and as far as the black paint goes, then i guess you could have them re-sprayed, but as opposed to buying new b45's it would still be cheaper.
Where abouts are you?
If you are interested in negotiating then please PM me.
I hope they will fit on an ra40 with that offset.
Steve

FYI steve

dents can be knocked out with a copper or brass hammer
easy to do when there are no tyres on the rim

the rims can be sprayed with any car paint for about 15 bucks and a couple of hours work

and the rims can be polished back up to a mirror finish with about 20hrs effort and a 50$ kit

i did mine
