I've seen pics of radiators torn to shreds by incorrect cap. Too much pressure is a bad thing. Unless its boost Smile

OK I have figured it out!!!

You had the cap upside down......... and it was a 0.6..... but when you look at it upsidedown it looks like 9.0!!

Laughing

Go with the 0.9

hehe
as others have said its not 9.0 its 0.6 ....u were looking upside down

yes cap pressure matters
too high and u blow things like water pump seals etc

too low and the coolant can boil

do it right

u say u have the 185 engine .....did u get a halfcut with that or did u just use the old gear ?

i used a half cut for the engine but the radiator is the same old standard.

it probally was 0.6 and not 9.0.
