Im on the northside, and have the same problem,

I've just phone a couple of auto electricians in the local area, while the first couple only gave me "we only fiddle with the electrical side of power window wiring"

the 3rd company said they would have a look and depends on the availability of parts they would replace / service old bits and pieces...

so theres my tip... ring ur local auto lec's

if they squeak maybe its coz they're not running in the channels correctly, or, they need lubraication

get some silicon spray to put in the channels and see if that helps

failing that a mob called "electric life" make replacement motors if the motor is suspect...

hope this helps...

All the rubbers, rollers and guides will need replacement after 20 years and for a soarer i dont like your chances, find a friendly toyota dealer and start beging!

then one fine day pull your door to bits replace and lube everything you can!
