Stupid pet things

Just thought id start a silly thread of what stupid things my dogs/cats have done
I have a 65kg saint bernard pup - who is yet to discover that doors actually open and close ..
So far shes wrecked one inside sliding door by just not seeing it - and an outside glass door off its rail because she thought it was open and just ran into it at a good trot ..
had a cat that fell asleep and did the fall of the top of the couch thing only to go " ahh F it " and stay sprawled on the ground ..
What stoopid pet thing have you had !

funniest shit my cat has done
it was sleeping in the backyard
so i thought id creep up behind it and scare it
managed to somehow get behind it without waking it up....so im directyl above it now....one leg on either side of the cat...this was my mistake...so i grab it and made some random cat noise at the same time
the thing jumped up and jumped up hard as my croth found out......it jupms up.....hits and bounces off my crotch and hits the ground and turns around to see its me then acts normal and starts purring as if nothing happened
heh

when my current cat was younger it used to have an obsession about sleeping half on half off your lap, which is fine, till it starts slipping off, wake up, and digs its claws into your leg so it doesn't fall. I used to have big claw marks in my thighs from the damn thing

thats because thunder is scary and must be barked at
My saint - is a total blonde - she'll bark at mops , stove lighters , a knife handle , nail clippers , tennis rackets - anything that may look like it needs to be barked at - she will , because for example - we know mops are viscious - and must be barked at

we trained our budgie to cluck like a chicken...
and a suicidal fish that somehow leapt out of a 2cm square hole in the top corner.
my dad's jack russel will hump the cushions off the lounge, even though shes female... i guess some male dog did it to her so she took up the habbit.

My favourite thing to do with my GF's cat was:
Pick it up
Pat it till it purred
THROW it
Chase it and grab it
Pick it up
Pat it till it purred
THROW it
Chase it and grab it
Pick it up
Pat it till it purred
THROW it
Chase it and grab it
Pick it up
...
Till her mum found out and hit me over the head. Now I only do it when her mum's out.

noise scares them and they cant run from it

I love the tie a loose piece of string around their waist. NOT TIGHT mind you, just like we would wear a belt. For some bizarre reason it cuts off their rear legs and they walk around like a drunk
My cat won't embaress himself now when I do that, he just sits down and waits for me to take it off

Lol... funny..
I have a american pitbull.. she has..
super glued there mouth together..
ate a sprinkler system and it got stuck in her throat..
Chewed a golf ball and it got wedged in her back jaw, causing her not to be able to shut her mouth...
drunk my coolant when i emptied it out of my car.. then threw it up...
jumped out of my car at 50km/h...
got hit by a car, when i picked her up to take her to the vet, she was so freaked she crapped in me...
chewed a lamb bone and wedged it on her jaw... again..
fell out of my house roof .. ( i put her up there to chase a mouse.. she tripped and fell through the manhole)
..
thats all I can think of now..

we used to have a patio with netting over the top, and vines made a huge nest in there. In all the vines there used to be mice running around, so we'd throw the cat up there. Then we'd find the mice running around and punch them from below. They'd go flying into the air and the cat would come screaming in and grab them. Was so freaking hilarious

re the female humping thing - thats a dominance thing - if the bitch does it to you - - she wants one over you , not a good thing if your " top dog "
re cats - it just proves they are oppertunistic with the mouse thing

-my fiances thesis corections, but thankfully not completely
-several mobile phones
-about 100 plants
