i got both
the 5m is early model (8.8 c/r i thnk, good for turboing)
and the 6m is currently in my car, but prolly only for a few more months
both have all wiring/ecus/ afm etc
i'm in perth tho
interested?

You will only get one without a gearbox.
Importers are your best chance, but stocks started diminishing a good 3 years ago.
Better off looking for a 7MGE with loom and ecu and autobox (or manual) to drop in.

Dunno man.
You can get them pretty cheap when someone is doing a conversion.

thanks for those links dood...but it would end up costing too mcuh to go to gelong and pick it up my elf cu its local pickup only 
ill just keep looking round and posting on every toyota forum

Freight would cost less than $200 if you ring around.
Either way dude, chances of finding something local = slim
