i'm after the front two oil lines running across the front of the head(they're the turbo oilfeed lines i think)
i really need to know exactly where they go
any pics r muchly appreciated

From memory (my 3TG has been gone a while!  ) the upper line is water, and attaches to either the throttle body or inlet manifold water fitting (cant quite remember right now) at one end, and the thermostat housing at the other.
The lower line is an oil feed, from the sandwich block (between engine block & oil filter) that runs around the front of the motor to the oil distribution block (part of the thermostat housing) to feed the turbo, and connect with the oil cooler outlet line.
I'll try and find pictures in my 3TG manual.

You'll also need to check your oil pickup, they differ between oil and water cooled turbos!

thanx guys but i really need a pic near the start and end of the lines. my motor doesn't have the metal lines around the front. it has only one and is made of the same material as brake lines.

There is only one oil line across the front of both my 3T-GTE motors, the other is a water line. I have sent you some pics I took tonight (so if you get a message from purplebeasty at hotmail.com it is not spam  )

Yeah the top one goes to the inlet manifold/throttle body area to warm it up... It goes into one side of TB, out the other side of the TB, then into the bottom of the runners flange area.
The bottom hose is oil, it goes from the sandwitch plate under the oil filter, then into the front of the head around the thermostat area.. It then kinda comes out the other side to oil cooler I think.
