I doubt it is easy. Depends on which Skyline rotors/calipers and their size. As far as I know the only easy brake upgrade for an AE86 is the japspec vented discs, otherwise you will probably have to change struts. I had big hassles with clearance of disc to steering arm and caliper sticking out too far into the wheel "spokes". Measure it all up before you even think about buying stuff.

Thanks for responding, the only reason I am asking is that I can get some quite large 4 stud discs for free, whould the stud pattern be similar?

Stud patterns the same, but I presume you're only talking about the 275mm GTS/GTS-R R31 rotors?
I'm actually working at present on fitting a set of GTR rotors to my ae86, I'll take some pics when I'm done

I have rotors and calipers from an R33 GTS-T on my AE86. AFAIK, the only mod was to fabricate new brackets to mount the calipers. I might have also been luck in the choice of wheel I chose, which gives plenty of clearance all round the caliper (15" Speedy Mystique II wheels) - the space between caliper and inside edge of the wheel in about 1cm. Still have bothered gettign the Nissan logo ground off the calipers!

TurboRA28, have you looked at Mitsubishi Evo 4 front rotors. They are 294 or 296 mm, and have a very "flat" hat profile. They're 25mm thick. This may be a bit thin for the calipers though. The disk is 5 stud, and could be easily machined down to 280mm (that's what you want?).
Cheers,
Justin

I will have the car on the hoist and wheels off in about a week's time, so I will try to get some pics then. No, I didn't do the work myself, but I will talk to the mechanic and find out exactly what was involved.
Cheers
