1984 silver-blue MA61, 2JZ-GTE, Brisbane.

Sadly I had to sell my other 1984 MA61, a black one with a 6M-GE which was known as the "skid car". Damn that thing was fun.

Hmmmmm, nice offer Dravwen, but I'll keep the interior stain free.
BTW, it is a Black interior, not a Balck interior. I wonder if Balck is a colour
I must admit it is much nicer than the pretty blue !!!!

its a spoiler for christ's sake! Sunshade is the thing that old commodores have on the back window which has about 12 ribs on it. very ugly thing. But serves a purpose.
Supra's "spoiler" is an addition that makes it look even more attractive, and also to complement the fat tyres and guards/ beefy front end.

sunshade
doesn't aid in performance - just adds 5kg or so (which it probably makes up for in up force)

looks like new kind-of on a good day.
Canterbury Sydney
BTW I just got back from the motor show....I was proud and happy to get back into my MA61. You have to spend seriously large amounts of cash to get a car that equals the MA61 in looks performance and comfort.

In parramatta I found a car enthusiast shop that had a book of road tests for the celica and supra from 1982-86. It is english though (no p type flares or wide wheels). "transport source books - road tests and articles- toyota celica and supra from 1982"
about 90 pages, great reading. sorry my scanner has died.
