Im trying to install a turbo timer to my Celica which has a 1JZ in it.. its a RA65... ne one in the know?

hehe sorry

i dunno what sort it is
it just has 3 settings... 1min,3min,5min
has three wires out the back
yellow,red,black

i just need to know where the yellow and red wires go Sad

oh and after looking at the ecu yesturday... my ignition wire is crossed with the battery wire.... its the only way the car will start Rolling Eyes

So you don't know what turbo timer you have, but you're asking us how to wire it up?? Rolling Eyes

Sorry, WAY more info required. Did it come with instructions or a wiring diagram?

is it a BES timer? toggle switch on the right

yeah that sounds like the one...

it doesnt matter if u get the colour of the wires wrong... ill just keep tryin till i get the right wire... i just need to know where the wires connect to.... someone said ignition and 12v

is that right?

i just emailed them got this responce

RED to battery positive
YELLOW
BLUE to ignition on
BLACK to vehicle negative (earth)

the only trimer I see with your colour combo is for a Rodeo model bes-624 / st2

and it goes as below I think the yellow operates the radiator fan during shutdown


we have a wiring diagram if you require it give me a fax no

the yellow wire goes to ignition
this is mainly on older type timers
