Lost crash virginity

Well I've just gone and had my first accident...certainly an eye-opening experience! My appraisal of it all - accidents are a big pain in the arse.
Luckily, I was driving my brother's pizza delivery-mobile (Ford Laser) and hence didn't send another Toyota to 'heaven'.
Was going at a reasonable pace from Stirling to Aldgate in the Adelaide hills, and it came to a left kink before a right hander. I broke a little late, rear end stepped out on me so I gathered that up - I hadn't lost much speed and had little room left to brake, I tried to stay in my lane so as not to smack head-on into someone else and then just plain ran into a barrier on the LHS of the road with the front left at approximately 50 km/h.
Of course, the tyres being near bald (not much more than 1mm tread depth), and it being wet were two huge factors in the accident.
The impact wasn't too bad, not much in the way of impulse, but the car is a mess. Will post pictures tomorrow so you may all laugh and point at me

Ouch dude. Too bad.
My first was when I had just got my L's. Taking a chick home from school (who I liked at the time), and the first thing I do after starting the car is back straight into a tree. Crumpled the back bumper.

Damn Jizzmaster zero... (anyone else seen Orgazmo?)
Yeah judging by the near illegal tread depth, I imagine that we'll probably just wreck the car (engine/gearbox etc still good). If we are lucky we may get insurance for it...will find out today sometime!

im still on crash virginity.....
before i had my Ls the bronze warrior accidentally got his nose scraped on the shed, had to get a big dent near the wheel arch out...
and other than 2 bunny bumps (fence and slid in between two trees, cliche style) and a gutter hit, and no damage anywhere, im clean.
yes, i am still a crash virgin
