what do you guys use to make those plastic bits on teh exterior shine/clean to get that 'armoral look'?

exactly what parts are you talking about? the bumpers or something? are they black? as i found on even just plastic black bumpers if you coat them in wax and a polish they come up pretty nice or you can get that tyre spray stuff, not the foaming shit but its kinda like a clear laquer but wax is the better option as they spray seems to leave shit on you if you touch it afterwards. but need more info on whats bits your talking about to answer you correctly.

sorry i mean like the door handles, and the rubber seals on the edges of the windows.... everytime i try to shine them it gets the greasy marks on the metal and u can see it....

I use Mothers 'Back-to-Black' for window rubbers and mirrors.
Polish works well for the plastic bits like the black gutter trims. A little bit of effort the first time, but easy after that.
Currently using So Easy for tyres, but it is a bit shiny for my liking... but real easy
