it doesn't go a whole lot at all at the moment! Lack of rego & licence see to that. me & the car should both be returning to the roads around the same time - not soon
& If it gets a T it would probly get a 7 to go with it

Hi
I own a few RT40 Shovelnose Corona's. A 1969 powered by an FJ20ET, A 1966 with a 202ci and a 1968 with the mighty 2R!.
Out of interest what upgraded diffs are people running in there Corona's?, As I am in the market for a new stronger diff than my Alfa setup which went bang the other day.

ohh no! its got the 7.1" that my old 4M broke. they are complete pieces of junk. I would much rather go with the 8" hilux rear, it may be a little bit heaver, but im making more then twice the power.
on top of that i have my 92 supra wich also has the G code rear end. It has a wonderful working LSD.

What gears are you running? My Hilux diff has 4.11's
I am running 3.67's right now and they are still too high. I want to be able to go fast, and the 4.11 gears are going to kill my top speed. That is why i am thinking that i should take the LSD out of my G code rear end in my MA70 and swap it into my Hilux diff. its got really low gears that will give me a good top speed

I'm fairly certain that the F series diffs are 7.5", not 7.1"...
Has anyone here had luck swapping a ratio from an IRS F/G series into a live axle F/G series?

82 XT 130 in Darwin.
It's had a minor bingle so it has no bonnet, front guards or nose at the moment. That 1X POS is gonna have to go, make way for a 1JZ, or if its decided that's too hard, a 1G-GTE.
Just gotta find the time to research and start work. on it.
