1JZ-GTE/2JZ-GTE Engine Manuals? Thu, 09 October 2003 14:04 Go to next message
Does anyone have one of these or know where to get hold of them? My preference is for a 1JZ-GTE manual.
I know there is an english 2JZ-GTE manual available in the US, and parts of it are available at http://mkiv.com/manual/index.html.
Does anyone have any other sources?

Thanks

Peter (project JZA61 just beginning)

Yeah - soon there'll be more JZA61s than MA61s!

Hi guys,

I have a copy on CD of Supra Mk IV manuals which will cover the 2JZ-GTE in English. It also covers the whole of Mk IV and a copy of the Mk III manual as well.

It would just need me to copy it and post it to willing recipients, or one who will host it on a site

Let me know

Cheers

I assume this English manual is for the US-spec Supra, and if that's the case it's important to remember that the US-spec 2JZ-GTE is different to the JDM 2JZ-GTE, especially in regard to the wiring, electronics, inlet system and fuel system. The engine internals are the same though.

What 1JZ pinout is that from ?
Soarers use 4 rows per plug on the ECU.

I'd guess that's for a JZA70 ECU, since that's what Wastegate has.

But im going to 'ASSUME' its from a JZA70. If it is, then its what 82MKII is after.

Norbs (and others),

Not 100% sure, but it may also be for the UK spec cars (came from the UK - Michael Canny) which seem to be the same as JDM's ?

Stenno, have sent you a PM

Cheers

Thanks for the info guys. Yes - the engine is from a JZA70.
Ddeane - you are right. There is a good deal of info (though not every page) in the gallery under Techdocs/2JZ-GTE Engine Manual #1,2,3.
Embarassed I guess I should have had a look first.
