They are both G series , only the rear is LSD .

I thought that only the rear diff on a Hilux was a G-series...the front diff is an F-series and is the sole reason there is a Truetrac LSD made for the F-series.

I think it's only the latter independent front type that's got the F series .

Yes, only IFS Hilux's have an F series front diff. Not sure about the ones with the live front axle - I only know they're not F series.

Does anyone know what the center is in the front of a LN130 Hilux Surf SSRX? I know its LSD and its from a independent diff!

Hilux/4runner ,All independent front diffs are f series and none were lsd
all live axel front diffs are g series and none were lsd
