Rotary 13B with W58 box!!!

i got a friend who is buying a old mazda rx7 with the 13b engine in. who wants to know if the w58 supra box will fit onto the 13b engine. if this box doesnt fit does anyone know of a box that will fit onto a 13b.

id say a series 4 or series 5 rx7 gearbox would fit that engine

its been done quite a few times actually
you should probably check on performanceforums or some mazda\rotor boards

what is a W58? a supra 5 speed?
loads of rotors are run through supra 5 speeds and corona 4 speeds as they are much tougher than the standard mazda items.

yeah, supra 5-speed
everyone who needs a tough gbox tends to use them, as theyre relatively cheap and pretty damn tough (just look at norbie's w58 holding up to a 2jz-gte!)
