wtb: 15 or 16" LIGHTWEIGHT rims for ae92 Sat, 11 October 2003 03:13 Go to next message
ive decided that the 17's are just not practical and they are pretty heavy.. i want to make the most of the power the 20v b/t has so i want to downgrade my rims to somethin a little smaller and lighter..

so some 15" or 16" preferrably with good rubber..

what have ppl got, if any?

15x6 wheels of 199x Nissan Bluebirds can be drilled fo suit 4x100 thus giving you a multifit wheel. They are a strong, light, 5 spoke wheel. We have some on an AE82 which look quite good. Will fit AE92 as well.

Easy way is to go to www.carsales.com.au and search secondhand cars for a 1993-1995 Nissan Bluebird. You can see the same wheels on different coloured cars. They look better with the lower profile 195x55x15 tyres as well. Can use the wheels with or without the centre cap which has 'Nissan' written on it but I am working on smoothing that over on ours at present.

Hi BB,
I've e-mailed you some pics of the wheels on an AE82. They're interchangeable on an AE92.
Cheers.
