hmm ticket apeals.	Sat, 11 October 2003 07:27

well a friend of my lost 6 points for doing 20kms on parra road on the longweekend.. on her red p's she was driving under stress.. something happened to one of her mates she got pulled over becuase of her fault. but what are chances of appealling? i know its totaly her fault and she probably deserves it.. but then again what are the chances of my mate getting off with a suspension or even a good behvaior instead of loosing the lisence? "I was under stress Mr magistrate" ... how does that sound? sounds about as good as her chances unfortunately. she has NO HOPE AT ALL with the IPB - they rarely go against fines, and only if theres an abvious fault her only option would be court and unless she can prove that she had a dying friend in hospital or something like that, her chances are piss poor. theyd be slightly better if she had a 5 year clean record of driving behind her [Report message to a moderator]
