basically not possible
there are piggyback computers that will convert a MAP signal back to an AFM signal for such modifications, but theyre expensive, and appraoch the price of a proper custom MAP based aftermarket computer system.
other than using those piggy back compuers, not possible
cheers

its single figures thank you very much!
half of waht I have left is a piece of piss
half if summarising some guy's argument
and the other half is fixing up all the niggling little annoying formatting and wording issues - which will probably take me for ever

seriously tho - Im going to print it at uni
laser goodness - will take 10 mins, not 10 hours
|
hahahahahaaaa.....
oh dear, thats what they all say
you dont wanna know the stories of 3 mates who managed to crash 3 individual laser printers at uni on thesis day
and also one girl who couldnt get her files to work in order to print... lost data and only had stuff from a previous 'save' - had to print that and hand that in - eughhh....

I never use discs I usually FTP major assignments to uni even if I've printed them at home, and I take extra copies on a CD

theres a printing place across the road from the uni, which at a last resort I will hand the disk to them (which I plan to take 3 copies of with me on 3 separate disks - I've had a disk corrupt on me before).
and no more horror stories!

then use PDF (Acrobat) files (not Word) to send/take your thesis to the printer ... so it doesn't reflow or somehow stuff-up (and screw-up any page specific references, or page-by-page formatting that you've spent days working on).
word's a v.good word processing package, but absolute shit at presentation and portability.
