It just like the Lambo doors, first you open them a little bit like normal doors then you push them up. If you look on Ebay there is a guy selling instructions on how to do it yourself, but i wouldnt do it. He says you need a hydrolic shocker, screws, hedges and a welder. If you would to do it yourself, best is to try on a shitty car or something cause you wouldnt want to stuff it up... Specially if you welded the wrong spot.
I know a place in Melbourne that fits them i think, try www.racingproject.com or something, cant remember.....Iv emailed them but they havent gottin back to me.... Ill let you no. Cool

Not really a new idea

They are fairly common in the U.S, the hinges them selves are about $1700-2500 dollars U.S for a pair but you still need to open the door out then lift it into the upright postion. and most on the ones on the u.s site look really dodgy (strength wise) I'm looking in to building a pair from scratch but thats way off in the future and only if every man and his dog doesn't get a set first.
There are a few people the do them in aus but they use the u.s parts so I'd look at a finished product first before jumping right in, on a daily driver they may be more of a pain in the arse than their worth.
I've got a vid of one opening if someone can host it, you can see how much effort goes into opening it.
There is also an engineering side of this which will need to be looked into before starting as the u.s parts I doubt would be passed by any engineers.
If you've got the knowhow you'd be better to try to build your own based on what you've seen.
