Im guessing but want to confirm that both of these are the same unit? or is the GZE one different to the GE one?
Thanks,

i have used the one of my ge on my ze, be warned if you are changing it out of a ze, you have to take the blower off, as well as the crank pulley etc. a easy way about it is just replace the front half (unless it leaks from the o ring) still need to take the crank pulley and plaky covers off though.

Heya,
I am taking the waterpump off my GZE engine at the moment, and putting it on my 4A-F (carby). At Marlows the product code for the 4A-F and the 4A-GE were the same, so they should match up, but oddly enough the code for the 4A-FE was a different one.
Anyway, how can i remove the crank pulley without causing the engine to rotate? The engine is removed from the car and has the gearbox attached.
Regards, Liam.

just take the flywheel inspection plate off (underside gearbox/engine) put a flat screwdriver in one of the flywheel teeth so it locks against the gearbox casing so it cant spin in that direction when you undo the crankpulley bolt. (that is how it is explained in the workshop manual too.) then just use a pulley removal tool to pull the pulley off. and put the screwdriver on the oppisite side of flywheel when doing up.
