My power steering is leaking from the seal on top and various other places as well as my steering box can these be recond or get new seals put in them?
if so or if someone has had this done how much will they flog me?
The power steering pump in my car recently died and i was quoted $300 to get it reconditioned. I chose the other option of purchasing a second hand pump instead! I just took it to my local mechanic to find out where it should be sent... your local mechanic/power steering guy should be able to give you the same advice

If it is just leaking, then you can just replace the seals. If you are happy to remove the box, the seals are held in by a circlip. Take the seal to a bearing shop - it will cost no more than $10. Replace, refit.
