i just wanted to let everyone that owns an Mr2 (89+) that the snorkles that you order are not very good (workmanship of the fibreglassing)
its only really 40% done. you then need to prep it up & paint. even then it doesnt fit properly!!! . i think it was very poorly manufactured & they should do something about their mold they use to make copies
i guess you get what you pay for. $250 is the cost for these snorkles + prep + paint.
if you wanna get one that has no problem fitting, maybe you would like to buy the original ones for $1000. thats what i was quoted!!! NO WAY
Hey dude i was looking for one so where do they sell dodgy ones....? OF course you have to prep them and spray it but what else is bad. Are you talkin about the aftermaket ones..
just ask any spoiler shop places they should be able to get one. yeah i know that you have to pre and stuff but the snorkle does fit properly. it leaves a gap between the snorkle & the engine lid & it looks shit.
u will just need to do some adjustments before you put it on to get rid of the gap. if you want it to look good
