hey i have a few spair diff s and i want to lock one up, i have a welder and can get the diff center out. it is a ta22 with standard diff. how do i go about locking it up.

quite easy

weld the planetry gears right up so they do not move at all. then keep welding to add strength.

Ensure that you do not get weld ont he crownwheel and pinion or the axle splines.
