I just bought a AE82 (1986) and it doesn't have power steering and I know that some of the models did. Was wondering if it would be easy to install it off another model corolla as the steer feels a bit heavier than I think it should.

Nark and I have non-power RA6x celicas where power is the norm, and we both preffer it over power. Much better feel. Worn tyres or bad alignment can lead to heavy steering.

steering can also feel heavy if the front tyres are very wide or don't have enough air in them higher tyre preassures lighter the steering
