Welcome to the new Toymods Forums	Tue, 14 May 2002 05:35

As you can see, we've decided to bite the bullet and move to a new Forum called "FUD", which despite the crappy name is a lot better than the current software, as well as having good support and lots of features that actually work. Here's an quick overview: The Good: - Uploadable/URL based Avatars; - Nicer notifications and thread based subscriptions; - Themes (although only got one at the moment) - Much improved editor (can select font size/colour/type and more) - Spell checker - Message preview - Private Messaging The Bad: - no more popup IM window; The Ugly: - The forum is a brand spanker - we can't copy old threads over; - All users are going to have to re-register. The old forums will still be available online for viewing here, and posting will still be permitted for a little while, but we want to encourage everyone to move over to the new forum as soon as possible. All the categories are the same as the current one, so you should feel right at home.Once you start using the new forums you should see what a big improvement it is (although you cant please all of the people all of the time!).
