Does anyone know if this is possible ?
Because if was going to spend money on a conversion i would probably go towards this.

anything is possible.
i would start by checking with the RTA as to the max allowed charged engine size (2.5x original weight of car)
as long as the car weighs more than 800kg, it will probably be legal.
i would also start by checking in with the TA22 boysngirls who have done this swap. i dare say it will be pretty similar, and since it is a tight fit, you can go by their engine bay measurements
to fit the W box, you may need to widen the tunnel a bit..
why not go for a 3SGTE? apart form the FWD to RWD mods... or even go for a BEAMS with a 6spd (i wish)
go for it. would be pretty front heavy, but good in a straight line....

theres a guy doing a 1G-GE in a KE35 in NZ.
hes also adapting GZ20 soarer IRS to the car... nice!
whats the reason u chose this engine?
as for 1G into early roller, have u seen the length of these engines and then the length of your engine bay?
there are easier and just as effective alternatives out there.
