Well all i can say is, FANTASTIC! Very well organised, food looked sensational ( didn't get to taste it!! ), great turnout and lots of nice toyota's.
Started the day at homebush and headed through the city, back towards monavale and then ending up at the northern beaches. I'll let someone else expand on that. Was a great drive with 40+ cars and i hope some of you have some cool pics to post in this thread.
Thanks to Joel for organising it, Rod, Jo and others who put in a big effort on the day, AND lets not forget the cooks! DAMN those ladies did a lot of hard work and i hope everyone remembered to thank them as they scoffed themselves
Can't wait for the next one and i'd like to say that cruises like this show how strong this club is. Its great to put more names to faces. CYA round
Luke

I'd like to say a big thanks to everyone who came, and a really big thanks to everyone who helped out.
I'm about to send my pics to Nark, as well as my dyno day pics, so you can see the fun we had. We couldn't have planned it better, with the oval at the end that we could drive on.
As for the prizes, half the celicas took off before I could hand 'em out, and I was also keen to do an official car count. The prizes were just small boxes of 'Favourites' chocolates, so I guess you guys that missed out are all owed a box each.
One thing I'd like to know though, is where were all the sprinters????? There's more sprinters in this club than any other car, but only 2 showed up (and I don't think either of them were official financial members). You guys could have come & shown the rest of us some fully sick drifting!
I think there were 13 celicas at one stage, but we had 12 at the final stop. The pictures are really good. I can't wait to see everyone elses. I wish we had someone standing on the side of the road in Manly, as we drove through with 13 celicas then a huge bunch of other toyotas.
BTW, I went out & bought myself a CB today, I can't wait for the next outing!

Congrats to Joel for organising a successful cruise and also thanks to the many people who helped serve lunch.
I have posted a separate thread in the war stories section with a couple photos of the cruise to keep this area clean.
I also have a very nice widescreen photo of all the celicas lined up tho its 500kb so I will have to find a way to get it to Nark along with a small video of luke's cressida taking off from a set of lights.

ok guys, official report time,
My self and Grant( toyrota ) rolled up about 10:55am and there was a huge presence of toyotas already rolled up to the car park! there we had photos, talked to new members and joel was getting ready for the driver briefing, 11:30 came and the briefing had begun, we were all given maps and was seperated into 2 groups, all the celicas in one group, to be led by joel (CLKWRK) and everyone else - corolla's, sprinters, mr2's, supra's and any other cars were led by ( UH OH ), Well it was a nite mare getting all the cars out of the car park and into the groups, i somehow made it to the front of the celicas ( only because they cant andle the corolla power:).
From there we headed to our first destination, about 20min away, which was a fuel stop for people well needing fuel! it looked good, all these toyotas taking over 2 servo's!
From there we left, heading along victoria rd going into the city, over the ANZAC bridge, Over the Harbour Bridge and through manly up to North Head, WOW, those speed humps are huge, and how many was there! after making it in and keeping my front bar on, we had an opportunity to take photos of scenic sydney, and to welcome the immigrants that were coming in on there dragon boat! HI GUYS! From there we headed back thru manly and sped up the coast up thru kuringai national park and then up to our final destination just before palm beach! by this time i was sea sick from all the bumps in the road! however we all got there safe! we had a great lunch cooked by our famous dyno day cooks, Tina, Dayna, Grear and luke!
After the lunch we had a photo opportunity on the local footy field! we headed off about 5:30pm!
A big thanks to Joel for organising a great cruise!
look out for our next megacruise going to bathurst!

Hehe, its really just a seca with a bonnet scoop
Yeah I missed out on getting that one on camera but I have thunderbird1 next to the porncar with troyboy behind at a set of lights. Well luke leaves us for dead but you can see troy rounding up the porncar.
Troy you have to put it up on your site and post a link so others can see it.

Hehe, I was kinda hanging out of the car. When I took the vid the camera was set at a low resolution so its pretty small. Next time I will select the higher res.
You have to get an mjpeg codec to watch it. If you do a search on it you should be able to download it from somewhere.

Nice Video !!!!
Pity the screen wasn't a tad more to the right! You can only just make out the tire smoke off the rear right hand wheel on the porncar
Totally by accident I might add still getting used to not having the locker in it.
Oh and for those with viewing problems I'm just using Quicktime and it works fine

Mate,
Mine just opened in quicktime here at work But if you download the file to your machine and rightclick it you should have an "open with" option then just pick quicktime as the program. I think Its quicktime version 4 here. Hope that helps.
