Re: AE86 RCA and strut bar needed for sample

they are just plain amuminium, but they have two sleeve type inserts (same as the struts)
you should ask someone for a spare sprinter strut, you could get all the measurements off that, as that is where they (the RCAs) fit afterall. just make them out of 30mm thick aluminium.
as for strut braces, i'd say it would be easiest to make one for an AE86, but they are pretty cheap to make here anyway i would think

when u said the two sleeve type inserts, do you mean the two holes that the bolts go into?
that's one of the measurement I need to know as well.
I guess i will also need the overall dimension, bolt size.
And maybe I will as well ask to make ones with negative camber, so I need to know also how far dose the 2 negative camber holes apart from the original holes.
get the measurement straight from the strut would be a good idea, but i don't have access for one.

yeah, there are two holes, but on one side they have sorta location pins, with holes through the middle. take a look at a sprinter (or any) strut and you will know what i mean, or google for RCA, roll centre adjusters or whatever.
don't bother with the camber adjusters

In the whiteline picture can you see the 4 little tube/collars? This are used to locate the strut onto the rca!

ok, i get what u mean. So in the whiteline pic, the face that's showing up will suppose to fit onto the bottom of the strut, and in between that there will be some little tube/collars to align them.
am i correct?

Yep you are correct! In the top picture you can actually see the collars fitted to the rca's already.

Because adjustable control arms will work better in conjunction with the rca's!
