How well do you the know the person doing the pink slip?
Pod filters are illegal in most cases, you can get them engineered - my engineer had no problem with mine and it's on the papers.
I can't see the CAI being a problem, put your stock air box back on and then swap it over once you've passed rego, that's the safest bet.

Most places will still give you the pink slip cos they have no idea that the pods are illegal.

Note the oil cap is OFF in this pic. He then proceeded to drive for the next 400km with it OFF.
There is that place in the industial zone of Castle HIll (next to Unique Autosports) that will pass you.

Yeah, pretty much. You might just have to buy the guy a six-pack or something.
At least the guy I was talking to (Shannon Pendelbury) said that all I had to do was mention his name, and I would get my car passed no problems.

Wear your prettiest dress, smile your biggest smile and offer to give him the best haircut he's ever had - putty in your hands Rob, and you'll get passed in no time
Although the mechanic might be tempted to modify your exhaust...

man, i feel sorry for you guys, i don't even know what the hell a pink slip IS, all i have to do is take my rego renewal slip to the post office and pay the cash, although mine cost around 250 from memory, and that is with a concession!
might keep shtbuckets off the roads though, but i suppose you can always find a dosgier guy.

i dont think you should be naming shops on the forum or lurker cops might decide to crack down on pink slips and drop in to them for a visit.
