Celica Spit Roast

Things are moving along now as far as me finding another car as a daily driver, So looking forward to the Rebuild of my RA28...
I intend on putting the Shell on one of those frame things that allow the car to be spun on it's axis to grant easy access to the underside of the car (help with the name would be a good start I havn't had my coffee yet)
Connection of the frame to the front of the car is welding to the chassis rails but who do you support the rear end??
Does anybody have any photos of a Celica on one of these frames so I can get some ideas on the frame itself so I can build one?
Cheers

You were close with the spit roast. It is called a rotisserie. I haven't seen one in action though, so I cant help with the details

I built one a while ago and sold it , and it was for a RA28 as well
I didn't weld it to the car, but made it in 2 parts, an A frame with heavy duty steel tube at the top, and a barcket/thingy that bolted to the Front & Rear bumper bar connections.
This was for a car without engine, trans etc
I may have the drawings, but pretty simple really

On the right path Guys, My idea of welding came from a bloke who builds old plymoth (ie big & heavy) he welded prongs to the chassis front and rear then lifted the car onto an A frame. I was looking at the same approch but the bumper thing sounds much simpler.
bbaacchhyy...
Those drawings would be helpfull
was the shell fairly stable on the frame???

Never actually got to put it on the frame.
It was for a cct car that the bills got too big, and hence the bits were sold.
I'll look for the drawings, but don't hold out much hope. If I find them, I'll post them
Cheers

On the ol celicas the frame should bolt to where the front crossmember bolts to the chassis! And at the back it should bolt to the area where the diff is mounted!
Bolting the frame on anywhere else will result on a mega twisted body
