Hey guys, i just got new pics of my car, panels are just about readdy for paint and the doors are in my workshop...getting prepared coz 1 of them was pretty F***ed up...
I also had some fun with paintshop tonight so lets see what you all think...
the colour isnt quite correct..but you get the idea yeh?
hahah (still has no lights or chrome or anything on it..)

That is where it was rusted out..had to repair it again...my bad...such a pain in the ass to get into that spot.

Finaly..the 18r-geu implant as it is...i would have had it painted but since i had that mishap with my mate cracking the rocker cover, i just finished grinding and filing that back.
So yeh;.

Nice touch with the prancing horse  With Photoshop I've found the best way to play around with colours is to select the area you want, try to get the colouring like it would be in real life (ie. all the same), blur it a smidge and then adjust the hue/saturation to get it looking real.
Looks good though mate, coming along nicely

Yeh no shit...its a pain in the ass to get to and i hate it.
After all the sanding and work i have put in trying to get it back up to scractch. i hope it looks ok.
i hate the fact that every time u want to do work on the engine, sometimes u cant help scratching or chipping the paintwork in the engine bay...it sux bigtime.
Not something that just a random person looking at your car would recognise... but you in yourself knows its there and all you think when u look at it is "SHIT..why The F**K did i let myself do that.
its so annyoing.

i know the feeling. just finishing off a 4AGE into my TA22 and have found that exact problem with chipping the paint in the engine bay...PITA
