Last night gave a RV rolla seca a bit of a run with my ae92 4afe rolla.
Both engines modified , mine slightly more modified. His being the 1.8L 7afe and mine being the 1.6L 4afe.
It was from a rolling start of about 50 and we both whacked back to second and planted it , my glad fragrence thing proceded to fly off the dash at me. It was quite a good race , we got up to about 130-140 before we had to slow down.
Afterwards he said that I had him from the start slowly creeping away but when we hit 4th I did see him start to creep up beside me again.
I rekon it was a quite good test of balls for my little engine.

definitely a good run, ur 2nd gear owned me, u got nearly a whole carlength
Ur 3rd gear was very different to 2nd though! too bad we had to slow down for those slow-asses in front of us (mangew head to head w/ mod'd Mitsu FTO).
and fark i didn't realise ae92's were about as light as ae82's!?

The 7A-FE was in an AE101 guys, in terms of engine "mods" the 7A-FE has a CAI and Diz has a pod and 3 degree advanced timing and they both have some kind of exhaust work done. That's all to the best of my knowledge anyways, don't quote me on it.

Would be interesting to hear of an ae92 RV 7a-fe go against a ae92 csi 4a-fe. But it's very interesting to hear that the 4a-fe did so well compared to the 7a-fe.
