Removing ae86 rear bumper

How is it fixed to the body? havent done it yet. And cant see anything in the tech gallery. Simple i guess. Just wondering, just inc ase any hidden bolts etc. I always tend to do things the hard way.

inside the boot > remove the panels from the sides > youll find 2 bolts like the front ones > remove > DONE!

ill double check tonight with my tech manual from japan too be double sure
maybe scan em for you

there's also a 10mm bolt inside the gaurd on each side
and dont forget the unplug the lights

Yea I checked it, under where it should be I thought on "body".
No info on bumpers, but bout everything else!

I've had some downtime at work and have been converting it to a series of word documents. I only have a few sections at the moment, but if anyone wants them let me know and I can email them to you. Or, if someone knows how to post them somewhere on this site, I'll just do that.

Ok heres how to take rear bumper off.
One 10mm bolt inside each guard and and one just underneath the guard where it joins the mudflap.
Pop boot...
Open side corner light flap/utility compartment....
One 10mm bolt down the bototm middle of each.
4 plus plugs on the deck, pop them out.
Each has a 19mm bolt which holds the actual brackets.
Get underneath the car and dsiconnect the 2 power leads to the plate lights.
Slide out the bumper, if any friction, probably the towloop things.
Thats it.
